![]() ![]() | Standard 22 NX Accuracy and reliability under all environmental conditions Anschütz designed the Standard 22 NX gyrocompass for high accuracy, reliability and operational safety even under the harshest environmental conditions for all kind of ships. With interfaces for serial data, Ethernet and Bridge Alert Management (BAM), it offers an easy installation and integration. The Standard 22 NX is available as a standalone system or as part of an advanced heading management system. Main Features High accuracy of 0.4° sec Lat. RMS Inductive and optical data transmission, no slip rings that are subject to wear Speed/latitude error correction Connected via CAN bus, enabling cable lengths of up to 400m (in comparison to Ethernet connections that can only reach a maximum of 80m) Webserver functionality for configuration, software updates and diagnosis, configuration possible in 2 minutes by upload of configuration file Quick settling mode reduces settling time to 1 hour Approved as gyrocompass, gyrocompass for high speed craft, and rate-of-turn indicator This system provides a redundancy of the distribution system in addition to the redundancy of compasses. No single failure in this configuration causes a loss of heading information to the connected heading receivers. Such a system (with two gyros) is compliant to the demanding class notations such as DNV NAUT-OSV/OC/AW, LR IBS or ABS NIBS. This system allows the connection to up to three gyrocompasses (or two gyrocompasses and one GNSS compass) and integrates a magnetic compass. In addition to the 4 serial outputs of Standard 22 NX, 12 outputs for the connection of heading receivers such as repeaters, autopilots, radars and others are available. Sensors are selected with the operator unit. The threshold for a heading difference between different compasses can be defined by the user and is continuously monitored. Thanks to the CAN bus, the wiring effort between the compass components is reduced to a minimum. Standard 22 NX M continues the series of Anschütz gyrocompasses for naval ships. With the same advantages as the commercial Standard 22 NX, it has proven its outstanding reliability and robustness in a long-term factory test and is also qualified acc. to MIL Standard and BV0430. Thanks to its various interfaces and formats for serial data communication, Ethernet communication and BAM, it is easy to install in newbuilds and refits. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | 1. Steering Repeater Compass Clear indication of the heading information The Steering Repeater ensures a clear indication of the heading information by using a 360° and a 10° compass card. In addition, heading information is shown on a digital display. Both the analogue and the digital display provide a graduation of a tenth of a degree. The heading source indication displays the source of heading information such as gyro-, satellite or magnetic compasses. Main Features Analogue and digital display Heading source indication 180° offset function for use on double-end ferries Dimmer, anti-glare screen 2. Bearing Repeater Compass 360° compass card and digital display The Bearing Repeater Compass is equipped with a 360° compass card and a digital display for heading indication. The heading source (gyro-, magnetic or satellite compass) is also indicated. Bearing sights can be easily mounted on the centric adapter. The 360° dial on the compass card is used for the reflection into the bearing sight. A fixed 360° scale on the outer ring allows relative bearings to be taken. For use on double-end ferries, a 180° offset can be added. Illumination is controlled via push-button. Bearing sights, bearing brackets and a pelorus stand are available. Main Features 150mm compass card Analogue and digital display Heading source indication 180° offset function for use on double-end ferries Dimmer 3. Digital Repeater Compass Heading indication on a large display The Digital Repeater Compass indicates the heading and rate of turn as a tendency indication. Heading changes are shown through a two-colour LED ring indicator. Depending on the rate of turn, the LED ring rotates – towards starboard in green and towards port in red. The speed is proportional to the rate of turn of the ship which is a helpful indication. Heading can be read easily from different viewing angles up to a distance of ten metres. Main Features Large display Rate of turn indication Optional casing for bulkhead or ceiling mounting Freeze function 180° offset function for use on double-end ferries |
